The Process

Writing in the Bee Writing Lab develops gradually. Each stage builds on the previous one, but there is no fixed path — participants join at the level that matches their current practice.

Inspiration Lab
A space for entering writing. Designed for those who wish to write creatively and freely, reconnect with imagination, and explore language without pressure or predefined outcomes.

Story Lab
Focused on growing narratives into stories. Through the Filter Method, participants learn how stories take shape, how they hold together, and how they generate meaning. This Lab is for those who want to understand storytelling from within and begin creating their own work.

Craft Lab
Dedicated to the narrative craft of storytelling. Participants work with voice, time, structure, and narrative perspective, exploring how different techniques shape the experience of a story. Literary examples and theory are always accompanied by writing practice, allowing craft itself to become a source of inspiration.

Literary Evenings

Literary Evenings are dedicated to the close reading and discussion of significant literary works.

Open to readers and writers alike, these sessions do not require prior analytical experience — only attention and curiosity.

Retreats & Masterclasses

At certain times of the year, the Bee Writing Lab offers retreats and intensive masterclasses for those who cannot commit to year-long Labs and wish to immerse themselves in writing and literature over shorter, focused periods.

Retreats and masterclasses are announced seasonally.

How the Labs Connect

Some participants move from one Lab to another. Others choose to remain within a single form of practice.

Rather than a fixed path, the work allows for a gradual deepening of attention, skill, and relationship to writing.

If you would like guidance on which Lab might suit you, you are welcome to get in touch.
